The nature of the event influences of course, but also the intended audience size.
For an audience of about 6-50 people, a Closeup show fits well.
If the audience is 25-90 people, then it is suitable with a Parlor show.
With 75-300 people in the audience, then a Stage show will fit.
An audience size of more than 300 people can also be solved, but require a bit more preparation.
